Who can join the swim team?
The Chancellor Blue Dolphins Swim Team is open to members of Chancellor Swim Club, in good standing, up to age 18 years old. If you haven’t joined the pool yet, check out the membership options at http://chancellorswimclub.com/apply/
When does the swim season start?
Our season starts the Tuesday after Memorial Day and runs through the last week of July. Teams participate in 6 regular-season swim meets. The season culminates with a divisional championship meet.
When are swim meets?
There are 6 regular-season swim meets - 3 home meets (at Chancellor Swim Club) and 3 away meets (at other pools in the Rappahannock Area Swim League). Most swim meets are on Wednesday nights with the exception of our Division Championships, which are on a Saturday morning.
When is practice?
Swim team practice is held in the morning before the pool opens, Monday through Friday mornings. Practice is divided by age group.
How much does it cost?
The registration fee will be $125 (plus a mandatory $20 RSL fee) per swimmer for the 2026 season. We offer a discount on registration fees for first-year pool members because we know there is a bigger cost with the initial membership investment.
